Closest Rafting to Los Angeles!

The Kaweah river 1 day trip is a very exciting rafting adventure with many Class IV and V rapids

We will meet you in the morning and head out for an action packed day of challenging whitewater that begin with “Suicide Falls” and “The Flood” rapids. Lunch is served riverside mid-day and than back on the river to tackle some of the biggest rapids like “Upper and Lower Slickies” and “Holiday Hole”. Our take-out is at Lake Kaweah – just a short bus ride back to your vehicles. We’re usually off the water and back at our meeting site by 3 to 4 PM.

This is our closest trip to Southern California locations especially LA & San Diego, but it is not a beginner run. Swimming skills are required and previous rafting experienced is recommended for this action packed white water rafting trip.

  • Meet n greet at 9:00am at the Three Rivers Hideaway
  • Gear up and load our shuttle to the put in location
  • At put in, you will receive a “safety talk” before we get on the river
  • Rafting!
  • Lunch will be served on river and consists of a delicious “make your own” sandwich fixings
  • More Rafting!
  • Done around 4:00pm

Directions

Three Rivers Hideaway Resort, approximately 30 miles east of Visalia, about 3.5 hours from the Los Angeles area, and 4.5 hours from the Bay area.

Take Hwy 198 East from Visalia to Three Rivers. Our physical address is 43365 Sierra Dr. (Hwy. 198). We are located on the North side of Hwy. 198, 37 miles East of Hwy. 99, 1\\4 mile past the Sierra Lodge on your left. Directly across the road from the We Three Bakery.
