Looking for rafting near Los Angeles? Look no further!
Los Angeles is where Nate Rangel, our founding “father” (okay, that sounds a bit over-the-top!) was born and raised. His first river trip 36 years ago, at the ripe old age of 30, was right here in our backyard on the South Fork of the American. And although Los Angelenos essentially live in a dessert we all think you should occasionally get out of town and enjoy the sun, water, flora, fauna and history that our rivers provide. So, whether you’re looking for an intermediate family adventure, or want to go wine tasting and rafting with friends…or enjoy one of our Class IV or V white knuckle runs…check out the pages of this site.
Any one of our trips is convenient to LA – either by automobile, plane or…if you’ve got lots of time on your hands…a mule or two. Our American trips are within an hour of what has been called California’s most convenient and passenger friendly airport – Sacramento International (the “International” moniker is a stretch as there’s only one flight daily to one foreign port of call in Mexico!). But even so it’s truly a great airport to use. So, if you hail from LA or Orange County or even San Diego come on up and smell the flowers. We’ll take good care of you.
