A white water rafting & camping trip on the Lower Klamath River is one of the most memorable rafting experiences we offer. The rapids are Class 2-3+ which is fun and not too big, you will enjoy the large sandy beaches along the river for camping and playing in the warm waters. One of the highlights of the trip is the hike to Ukunom Falls! On the 2nd day we stop where Ukonom Creek flows into the Lower Klamath River and begin to hike up the creek. We end at Ukunom waterfall, and have time to swim, enjoy the natural beauty and take photos (GoPro or other waterproof camera is ideal).
Meals are included and we will provide the gear for the kitchen. Tent & sleeping pad are available if you need those, please bring your own sleeping bag (pillow, teddy bear etc). There is no set itinerary, this trip is really ideal for getting out of the hustle & bustle of everyday life, getting into nature, and kicking back.
We like to take smaller groups on this river, and it’s ideal for families with younger kids (ages 4-5+) & corporate groups (makes for a great incentive).
Inflatable Kayaks are included with this trip as well, these are fun to play around in and make the smaller rapids more challenging. We provide 1-2 per group of 12.
