This is a must do Spring white water rafting trip on the South Fork American River. Available only in May, and possibly early June, depending on water levels. This technical section of river is situated near Kyburz, CA off Highway 50 in the Tahoe National Forest.

We meet at our South Fork American River outpost in Lotus, CA in morning of your trip. Shuttle is provided by us to the put in location. Lunch is included and will be served on river, or back at camp at the end of the trip.

This is a 1 day trip but can be combined with any of our other California and American River rafting trips!

  • Once you arrive as our guest please know you are now what we consider “River Time”. This means we try and stick to a schedule, but times are merely a guideline and may not be exact once we start our adventure. Times below may vary, but not much!
  • 8:00AM Meet at our South Fork American River campground in Lotus, CA where you will meet your guides and get your gear before we load the shuttle to the river!
  • 8:45AM Safety talk and put in and start rafting!
  • 1:00PM Lunch (depending on flows we may bring lunch to the river, or return to camp for lunch)
  • 2:00PM Fond farewells as you head home or to your next destination … OR maybe you would like to stay the night and camp!
