“Got Water?” We do…and loads of it!
Operating under new federal licenses, the two utility companies operating our 15 upstream reservoirs on the South and Middle Forks of the American are required – even in the driest of years – to provide summer recreational releases for both rivers.
What that means is that we’ll see great water 5 days a week on the South Fork of the American (dry on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and, though exact days are not finalized, good flows on the Middle Fork American also.
Bottom line – we’ve got water all summer long!
