You Are Ready for White Water Rafting in California

California Whitewater Rafting — RAFT THE AMERICAN RIVER — If you are worried about being in shape before going on a river rafting trip with Adventure Connection, you can relax. You don’t need to be able to complete an Ironman competition to be able to enjoy white water rafting.

You should, however, be comfortable with some activity and moving around. If you are at all in doubt, it is recommended that you see your doctor before signing up for a trip. Most people will find that they are in good enough shape to enjoy their river rafting experience on the American River. You will be taught the correct way to paddle, so you won’t be wasting energy. As long as you can hold onto your paddle and wear a life vest, you will be fine.

You do want to remember, however, that river rafting isn’t just sitting on the couch, playing a video game. You will be moving, and you may be a little sore when you are done, but not to worry, you can enjoy a hot shower at the Adventure Connection campground after your trip, which will help wash away any little aches and pains that you have.

Remember, as long as you have basic physical fitness, you will be just fine on your Adventure Connection river rafting trip. To make sure you get the dates you want, sign up for your trip today!
