American River Rafting Trips Continue!
South Fork and Middle Fork American River rafting trips are still going strong thanks to F.E.R.C licensing and dam control schedule agreements. California is in a drought and has been for the 2021 calendar year. Many spring runs were not available due to lack of snowpack. Dam controlled rivers like the American and the Truckee had strong seasons.
Trips on the Truckee River in North Lake Tahoe ended at the beginning of August 2021 due to low water flows. Trips on the Lower Middle Fork American & South Fork Lotus Run (Class 2), South Fork American (Class 3) and Middle Fork American (Class 4) will be available thru the end of August at the regular summer schedules.
Day trips are available most days of the week, and overnights are still available on Thursday/Friday and Saturday/Sunday until Labor Day weekend. Overnight Camping & Glamping available as an add on at our South Fork American River Campground in Lotus, CA for our half day and 1 day trips.
Our Wine/Rafting trips will continue as well so join us for a weekend of wine tasting and white water rafting!
