- Bring quick dry clothing, if possible. Remember that, once cotton gets wet, it stays wet and can be uncomfortable. You’ll also want shorts, a swimsuit, tennis shoes or Tevas, a nylon hat or visor, a windbreaker, a strap for your sunglasses, waterproof sunscreen and dry clothes for wearing around camp.
- If you are going on an overnight trip, you’ll need a sleeping bag, a tent and sleeping pad (can be rented), a ground cloth, toiletries, insect repellant, flashlight, jacket or sweater, pants and dry shoes, a towel and a washcloth.
- If you like, you can bring a musical instrument and a camp chair for evening, alcohol (in moderation) and a camera with a waterproof case.
