TUOLUMNE RIVER – 3 DAY | WHITE WATER RAFTING CALIFORNIA

The Tuolumne River is done as a one day river rafting trip only in early spring and late summer/fall. We run all 18 miles of the Tuolumne in one day as there is only one place to put-in and one take-out area. Rafters need to be adventuresome and in good condition with prior rafting experience. Our day is long and full from the moment of meeting in the morning until we return to our cars around 6:00 PM.

Note: all of our Tuolumne River Rafting Trips are run in conjunction with one of our trusted associate outfitters.

Get ready for a great day on the river! We board our river van promptly at 8:00 a.m. and head for the river about 45 minutes away. En route your guides will present orientation and safety information. At the river launching site you will receive your river gear including a paddle, a helmet, and a life jacket. We will launch our boats, practice paddling skills with our guides, and head for the excitement and fun of the Tunnel Chute and Kanaka Falls!

We stop mid-day for a delicious lunch along the river where we have time to enjoy the peacefulness of the canyon and its wildlife before paddling through more fun rapids like Chunder and Parallel Parking to finish the day’s run. Our shuttle vehicle will greet us at take-out with cold beverages for the ride back to your car.

You’re ready to head home by around 4:00-5:00 p.m., relaxed and full of memories from a great river trip experience!

While some things have changed over the years, Tributary remains a family-run small business with the same passion for the river and the mission of leading others to experience it.
