Rafting Season is Here!

We love rafting!

The time has finally arrived where we are running rafting trips again!

We have been tirelessly working on getting approval to resume operations on several of our whitewater rafting trips, and we are now operating on almost all our California rafting trips!

We currently have 1/2 day and 1 day trip options available, and there is overnight camping at most locations including the South Fork American River in Lotus, CA, the Truckee River RV Park in Truckee, CA (North Lake Tahoe/Reno), and the Trinity River in Big Bar, CA.

Several multi-day trips with meals and camping included are scheduled to begin on Thursday June 25th and we plan on full offering come July 1st.

Our amazing staff is so excited to be on the rivers again. We had some fun these last couple of weeks training new guides and running some epic sections of California Whitewater like the Class V Burnt Ranch Gorge and Class 2-3+ Pigeon Point runs on the Trinity River near Big Bar, CA.

Tributary Whitewater Tours has been running rivers since we were first founded in 1978. Since we opened 40+ years ago we have expanded to include Adventure Connection, Mariah Wilderness Expeditions, High Desert River Outfitters, Canyon Outfitters and are the parent company of Raft California and Raft Oregon. While some things have changed over the years, Tributary remains a family-run small business with the same passion for the river and the mission of leading others to experience it.
