TUOLUMNE RIVER – 3 DAY | WHITE WATER RAFTING CALIFORNIA

Take the time to truly enjoy the wild and scenic Tuolumne River with an extra day on the river to hike, fish, relax and fully experience this extraordinary wilderness canyon. We raft the river with time to experience and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the river. Our camp is usually just below Clavey Falls, a wonderful area for hikes, fishing, and just relaxing in the “middle of nowhere” on our extra day in the canyon. We return to our cars around 4:00 to 5:00 PM on the third day, rested and refreshed from a true wilderness experience.

Get ready for a great day on the river! We board our river van promptly at 8:00 a.m. and head for the river about 45 minutes away. En route your guides will present orientation and safety information. At the river launching site you will receive your river gear including a paddle, a helmet, and a life jacket. We will launch our boats, practice paddling skills with our guides, and head for the excitement and fun of the Tunnel Chute and Kanaka Falls!

We stop mid-day for a delicious lunch along the river where we have time to enjoy the peacefulness of the canyon and its wildlife before paddling through more fun rapids like Chunder and Parallel Parking to finish the day’s run. Our shuttle vehicle will greet us at take-out with cold beverages for the ride back to your car.

You’re ready to head home by around 4:00-5:00 p.m., relaxed and full of memories from a great river trip experience!

While some things have changed over the years, Tributary remains a family-run small business with the same passion for the river and the mission of leading others to experience it.
