This 17 mile trip is a Middle Fork extravaganza for those of you wanting a lot of excitement in one, very full day. We meet you in the town of Auburn after breakfast (on your own) and head for put-in. We’ll be on the river early, running the Tunnel Chute and lots of other exciting rapids as well as floating and paddling the calmer stretches of the river. We stop for a picnic lunch along the way and at take-out in the late afternoon, you can look forward to cold drinks at the end of a long and very exciting day.
Upper Klamath River | 1 Day Rafting Trip
An exhilarating whitewater rafting adventure located near Oregon and Northern California! Being a dam controlled river, trips are available all summer long from May thru September!
The most memorable whitewater moments will be the long Class 4+ rapids of “Caldera” and “Hells Corner”. With lots of Class 4 action you will not be disappointed!
We stop for a riverside lunch which is included and at the end of your trip, cold drinks to wrap up your exciting day.
Enjoy the 21 mile Class 2 wilderness section of the East Carson River. The natural hot springs are the highlight of the trip where we stop for lunch and soak. ,
For larger groups Inflatable Kayak rentals may add an additional challenge for adults and older kids!

We meet in the town of Auburn and meeting times vary from early morning to mid-day depending on our put-in time. After check-in we’ll drive to the put-in where you will receive a safety orientation and review paddling techniques with your guides. The river leaps into intense rapids from the start with almost continuous class 4 runs for the first five miles. Depending on water levels we may scout one of the biggest drops, Chamberlain Falls, for the best run. Lunch on the riverbank will give us a chance to relax and enjoy the stark beauty of this stunning canyon, before more rapids on the lower section!
Our one-day trips run on Saturdays and Sundays, meeting at 8:30 AM. After check-in we’ll take a short drive to the put-in where you will receive a safety orientation and paddling instruction by your guides. The stretch of river we do on the one-day trip is very exciting with many class IV and V rapids including “Suicide Falls” and “The Flood”. After a picnic lunch on the riverbank we’ll get back into our boats and tackle some of the biggest rapids on the river like “Upper and Lower Slickies” and “Holiday Hole”. Our take-out is at Lake Kaweah – just a short bus ride back to your vehicles. We’re usually off the water and back at our meeting site by 3 to 4 PM.
